iphone uploads - new work

So my camera managed to break in transit from Wgtn to Melbourne

- Arrrgh! Sooo annoying. Luckily, supa-best-boyfriend to the rescue w his cast off iphone hand-me-down *he upgraded to new model, but this old one be good enough for me*!!

Slightly blurry images, but better than none till I can finance a new camera - prefferably an upgraded uber one that can take fully printable high res images an all.... may be a while me thinks!

Its on canvas, so is ready to hang. But still features the vintage wallpaper, top layer of hand painting on water colour card, resin and also moths made of silver leaf and gouache. On reflection of the finished result, I went with more vibrant colours on the board and traded the moths for tiny detailing in an over-painted layer on the water colour. Happy Birthday Tui tickle!

So in celebration of Tui's firt birthday - I cant believe its been a whole year already - I created this image using photoshop for her invite

the black crest is the concept design I was playing around with before i came up w the finished one below for 1day tee.

Because i've got a golden ticket!!!

My good friend Naomi asked me to do a painting for her sisters birthday this year. However she was not quite sure what to commission, being for someone else and all!

Solution: A golden ticket - Its an art piece in itself, but it also means the reciever gets to commission their own piece of work, with the cost having been already sorted out and dealt with prior!

Great! Choose your own sort of idea for a painting, or what sort of style and materials, or even just what sort of colours you want it to be so that it looks perfect on your wall with all your things.

Much better than the usual sort of voucher you normally recieve me thinks!!
